Who We Are

Weepin Oaks Boxers is located 65 miles south of Montgomery, Alabama.  Our home and barn are surrounded by a hundred and twenty acres of beautiful pastures, creeks, woods and farm land.  There are no signs of the hustle and bustle of city life.  Having retired here, it is a very welcomed slower pace of life that we now enjoy.

Along with our Boxers, we share our home with our American Quarter horses.  Here we have plenty of room for the animals to enjoy.

We are in southeastern Alabama where the summers are hot and humid and the winters usually have a low in the 20s. We have a small family of horses and boxers. Smoke, (AQHA) a quarter horse came to us about fourteen years ago. He has a great bloodline and puts out mighty fine babies. He has a great disposition and is well mannered. Just a "Good ole boy". I couldn't ask for a better stud horse.  Smoke has retired from breeding.

My mares are good mothers. We breed them every so often, they aren't brood mares. We have done some barrel racing, pole bending and trail riding. We never went into competition big time, just for fun. Our mares have the heart for speed and you don't need spurs. Smoke was never used for barrels, poles, or cutting. He didn't get that opportunity.

We searched for our puppies. Not just any old boxer. We wanted pups that were healthy, well built, and good dispositions. We raised our pups as family and they are. They are NOT in kennels or in cages that are lined up one after another. They run and play in our fenced-in back yard. Our girls are good mothers. They have healthy pups that look great. All of our puppies go to the vet for: docked tails, dew claws removed, deworming, shots and a good check ups.

All our puppies are born at our home and later they graduate to our kennel which is a 10'x 10' that is raised 8 to 12 inches off the ground to help prevent health problems, worms and parasites. We've added a insulated building that has heat and electricity so the pups can go in or out as they have a doggie door. This is really great because they have room to run around and get some exercise. All of our adult dogs are on Iverhart Max which also helps prevent heartworms, tape worms and such. Our puppies are NOT exposed to the grass or dirt while they are with us. That way when you take a puppy home, they should be free of those nasty parasites.

We have added some boxers to our family, for the love of the boxer. All of our boxers are house trained and they are our pets. We take pride in each of their personalities, health and welfare, but each one knows that they are loved. You can love one dog or a bunch and they know that they are loved here.

When our puppies go to a new home, the new owner receives a healthy puppy, current shot record issued by the vet, puppy food that he is currently eating and the AKC papers information on NuVet Plus with a sample. If you need a puppy shipped, contact us.

Other than that, we keep very busy with the Boy Scouts. From working with troop activities, camp outs, Order of the Arrow and the Brotherhood Ceremony team. We also are very active with the Boy Scout Woodlore Camping School (primitive, rustic camping) so we stay busy.

Let's not leave out the church activities.  We are very active in our Holy Bible (Authorized KJB) believing church which follows God Word. We trust in God's Word and we believe that we are a soul-winning church.

We hope you enjoy our website. Look through the pages and see what you can find. See something you like, call or email us. Be glad to hear from you. We keep adding new things to our website because we want to keep you informed about boxers and some of the new activities and the not so new with horses too. Come back and visit us again. Have a nice day.
